Breakfast That Never Fails, Dog SPA & Fogg
Today’s breakfast was simple but perfect: an omelet with paprika and parmesan. Honestly, it’s one of those combinations that never disappoints. Warm, savory, and just the right amount of comfort to start the day. I highly recommend it if you want something quick but still feel like you’re treating yourself a little.
Spa Day… for the Dogs
And I have to laugh a little when I look at the dogs today. Mother and son, freshly groomed and looking like they just walked out of a luxury salon.
Because yesterday… yes… it happened.
They had a SPA day.
I know. You heard that right. And if someone had told me a few years ago that I would be sending dogs to a spa, I probably would have laughed. Yet here we are. Clean, fluffy, and clearly feeling very important.
To make it even funnier, they’re actually my daughters’ dogs. Somehow that still ended up being my responsibility. That’s just how life works sometimes.
But honestly, it says a lot about the world we live in now. Pets are no longer just pets , they’re family members, companions, and in many households they’re treated with the same level of care (and sometimes luxury) as people. The global pet care industry is worth hundreds of billions of dollars, and services like dog spas, grooming salons, and even dog hotels have become completely normal.
So yes… apparently I’m part of that statistic now.
Three Days of Fog
The fog has been thick for the third day in a row. One of those heavy, quiet kinds that seem to swallow the landscape. It looks beautiful in a way, but driving in it is another story. It demands patience and a bit more focus than usual.
Between Packing, Projects, and a Much-Needed Coffee
In between everything, I’m packing, slowly and carefully. Not in one big rush, but little by little whenever I find a moment.
At the same time I’m working on several new projects, and the days are extremely hectic right now. My mind is constantly moving between ideas, plans, calls, and preparations. It’s exciting, but it also means the days pass very quickly.
Today I’m also hoping to meet a friend, one of those small plans that can easily disappear in the middle of a busy schedule. But I truly hope I manage to squeeze it in between all the packing. Sometimes a simple cup of coffee is exactly what you need in the middle of chaotic days. And if it comes with a great friend and a good conversation, that’s an extra bonus.
Today’s Motto
“Even on the busiest days, make room for the small moments that make life feel good.”
Buble hugs from Nordè
