Soft morning light and Pentecost calmness in the air.

Coffee first and then straight out the door. One of those rare days where I try to fit in everything there is never enough time for during an ordinary working week.
Honestly, these slower days are beautiful too. No rushing, no stress, just a full list, a calm mind and space to breathe between moments.
And of course, with my kind of luck, the bridge connecting my little island to the mainland opened right as boats were leaving the harbor. Suddenly there I was, completely stuck.
But what does a Queen do? She adapts.
No, I did not do like the Norwegian King once did and order a helicopter from the island after his holiday here. Instead, I turned the situation into something unexpectedly beautiful. I walked along one of Norway’s longest sandy beaches, enjoyed the fresh ocean air, drove around the island like a tourist and simply allowed myself to slow down for a moment. Two hours later the bridge finally opened again and I could head home.
And honestly, maybe that is exactly the point. Some days become special simply because we choose to experience them differently.
Always gratitude, whatever the day brings.

Building Strength One Day At A Time

Training has become a natural part of my life now, not only physically but mentally too. Muscles are built slowly, quietly, repetition after repetition. Perhaps that is exactly what makes strength so beautiful. It cannot be rushed.
Real strength is earned.
The body adapts and eventually the mind follows. Discipline slowly transforms into identity and suddenly the things that once felt difficult simply become part of who you are.
And yes, always with makeup, I must admit.
But recovery matters too.
Even athletes understand that rest is not weakness. Rest is strategy.

Music As Always

Music has always followed me through life. It creates mood, memories, energy and comfort all at once. Sometimes a single song understands emotions better than words ever can.
Today was also filled with preparations for next week. There is suddenly so much happening now that it is only a few weeks until I step onto the stage at Mrs Globe.

Life Like Chess

Life reminds me a little of chess lately.
Every move matters. Not every move needs to be aggressive. Some moves are patient, strategic and quiet. The strongest players are rarely the loudest ones.
In chess you protect what matters while planning several moves ahead and honestly everyday life works much the same way. Strategy mixed with instinct. Patience mixed with courage.
Sometimes knowing when not to move becomes the most important move of all.

As Bobby Fischer once said,

“Chess demands total concentration.”

Maybe life does too.
Strangely enough life works the same way. Bad habits, negative energy and chaos grow quickly when left unattended.
Structure matters. Discipline matters. Even the smallest routines shape our lives far more than we realize.
The military has long understood something important. Routines create stability and stability creates strength.
And yes, I am absolutely the kind of person who makes the bed every single morning because it creates order. A small accomplishment before the day has even truly begun.
A made bed may seem insignificant but psychologically it signals readiness, control and respect for your environment and yourself.
Small habits often create the biggest results over time.

The Road Towards Mrs Globe

There are now only days left until my journey toward the Mrs Globe finale.
The days are filled with preparation, planning, training, fittings, responsibilities and late nights because Mrs Globe represents far more than beauty.
It celebrates women with purpose, leadership, charity work, advocacy and real life experience. Women from around the world using their voices to inspire and uplift others.
That is something I deeply admire.
Beauty fades but character does not.
And honestly, that matters.

Fashion Then And Now

Fashion has changed so much through the decades.
There was once a time when women wore elegant dresses daily, heels clicked against the pavement, hats were perfectly placed and posture was carried proudly upright. Everything carried intention.
Today the world moves differently. Comfort often wins over elegance and fast trends replace timeless style.
But elegance never truly disappears because elegance is not only clothing. It is energy, confidence, presence and posture. It is the way someone carries themselves through a room without needing to say a word.

Skin Health And Daily Care

One thing I believe people should take more seriously is skincare and daily sun protection.
Using sunscreen every single day matters far more than most people realize, not only for beauty but for health too.
UV rays accelerate aging, pigmentation and long term skin damage long before we visibly notice it. Even cloudy days expose the skin to harmful rays.
Healthy skin reflects care.
Taking care of your body should never be viewed as vanity. It is maintenance, respect and an investment in your future self.

Warm Lemon Water Before Coffee

Lately I have also started drinking warm lemon water before coffeez in the morning and surprisingly the body loves it.
It may help stimulate digestion, support hydration and gently wake up the metabolism after sleep. It also provides vitamin C and helps the body feel more balanced before caffeine enters the system.
Simple habits often carry surprisingly powerful benefits.

Investments Markets And The Future

The stock market continues shifting globally and foreign investors still play a massive role in Norway’s economy.
Energy, technology and seafood remain particularly attractive sectors internationally while uncertainty continues creating cautious movement across markets.
Fear moves markets quickly but long term thinking usually wins.

As Warren Buffett once said

“The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient.”

And perhaps that quote applies to life too.
Good investments are rarely emotional. They are strategic, calculated and patient.
And honestly, the most valuable investments are not always financial.
Health, knowledge, relationships and personal growth often create the greatest returns over time.

Fun Fact

In military training recruits are often exposed to controlled stress such as sleep deprivation, loud noise and rapid task switching, not simply to build toughness but to train the brain to make decisions under pressure and chaos.
The goal is not exhaustion. The goal is resilience.

A Personal Motto From Nordè

Protect your peace, build your strength quietly, invest wisely, stay elegant and never forget that small daily habits eventually shape an entire life.
