The Yes That Changed Everything

Long before I sat at my kitchen table writing that first blog, I was invited to Kvinner i Vinden in spring 2024.

One of Norway’s leading events celebrating women in business, leadership, and creativity. Organized by Christian Ringnes, a well known Norwegian businessman, investor, and philanthropist with a strong commitment to culture, entrepreneurship, and social initiatives.

For a long time, I had been saying no to invitations like this. Not because I did not value them. But because I was unsure if I was ready to step forward and truly be seen again.

This time, I said yes.

Stepping Back Into the Room

Attending Kvinner i Vinden for the first time was both inspiring and empowering. The energy in the room was tangible. Conversations flowed between ambitious, creative, and courageous women. There was a shared understanding. A shared drive.

Being part of that atmosphere reminded me that visibility is not vanity. It is participation. It is contribution. It is connection.

That evening became more than an event. It became a quiet turning point.

From Moment to Movement

The feeling stayed with me throughout the year.

By autumn 2024, I took the leap I had long envisioned. I stepped fully into visibility. Returned to professional shoots. And launched Nordè Temb.

It was proof that courage rarely arrives before action. It grows because of it.

Sometimes growth begins with one simple word. Yes.

“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”
Neale Donald Walsch

Buble hugs from Nordè
