Blog: Choose chaos or choose humor?
Today reminded me that sometimes you don’t get to choose how a day begins, only how you decide to meet it.
But first, the weekend.
A mix of coziness, laughter (always laughter, that part is essential), a little chaos, lovely visits, and still… recovery. This weekend, including today, reminded me that having a dog is wonderful, and at times a little demanding. Speaking from experience.
This morning was planned. Timed. Structured.
The dog was supposed to go out. Simple.
Then something unexpected happened.
Our small, sweet one suddenly stood frozen in what can only be described as a hockey stance for more than ten minutes. My heroic attempt to help using snow did not help at all.
So instead of a normal morning, it turned into an unplanned dog spa morning.
Everything shifted. Plans moved.
The day started an hour later than intended, yet somehow I became incredibly efficient. Funny how that works.
And today, another project was completed. I am truly happy with the result. What it is, you will have to read about another time.
The great feeling.
There is something special about small, new milestones. Quiet victories that may look small from the outside, but feel enormous when you stand in the middle of them. Right now, so many things are moving at once that I almost do not dare to look too far ahead. One day at a time feels right.
One step, then the next.
I keep my cards close to my chest these days. Not out of secrecy, but out of respect for the process. Some things need space before they are shared. Some moments grow stronger when they are allowed to exist quietly for a while.
And maybe that is exactly where the magic lives -in the becoming, not only in the arrival.
The week started as a blank page today.
Remember to color the corners too.
Bubble hugs from Nordè.
