An Ordinary Weekday

Just an ordinary weekday. Nothing fancy. Nothing planned. And somehow, those days often turn out to be the best ones.

Between calls, meetings, and everything in between, I slipped away for a little moment of me time at the salon.

A Touch of Magic

My incredible hairdresser, truly in a league of her own, worked her magic once again. This time I went a little lighter. A subtle shift. A slightly different makeup look to match. She simply understands it every single time.

You often see me mention her on Instagram, because she genuinely deserves the recognition. Talent is one thing. Intuition is another. She has both.

A Pause in the Middle

There is something about sitting in that chair that feels almost therapeutic. The quiet hum of the salon. The warmth of the water. The gentle rhythm of someone washing your hair.

For a brief moment, everything slows down. Thoughts soften. The noise fades. And life feels simple again.

Balance, Not Vanity

Walking out with freshly styled hair, I always feel a little lighter. Not only because my hair looks beautiful, but because my mind feels clearer too.

These small rituals remind me of something important. Self care is not vanity. It is balance. It is allowing yourself to receive care, even in the middle of responsibility.

Letting someone else take care of you, even for a short while, can be true balm for the soul.

“Take care of your body. It is the only place you have to live.”
Jim Rohn

With softness and strength,
