Oscars, glitter, and a proud moment for Norway

Last night the Academy Awards lit up the world once again.
And Norway had its moment.

The film Sentimental Value, directed by Joachim Trier, won the Oscar for Best International Feature Film, a historic moment for Norwegian cinema.

A huge congratulations to Joachim Trier, the entire cast, the creative team, and everyone who helped bring this story to life.

A proud reminder that small countries can create stories that travel very far.
And of course, the Oscars would not be the Oscars without the red carpet

And yes, I admit it, I love a good dress.
There is something timeless about dressing up, feeling elegant, and celebrating the moment.

Monday reality

After a weekend that disappeared far too quickly, Monday arrived.

And not quite the way I had imagined.
It has been a long day.
A very long day.
One of those days that slowly stretches out hour by hour, where things do not go exactly as planned, and where you simply keep moving forward because that is what the day asks of you.
And tonight I can say it honestly.
I am completely exhausted.
The kind of tired where you feel it in your whole body. Where you suddenly realize that you have absolutely nothing left to give today.
And that is allowed.

Because the truth is simple.

We are all human.
Even those of us who build, create, lead, and push forward every day sometimes reach the end of a long Monday and simply admit:
That was a lot.
The west coast weather did not help either..
Rain.
Wind.
Grey skies that honestly felt more like October than March.

So tonight will be simple.
A warm shower.

Another cup of coffee.
And a quiet moment before the next chapter of the week begins.

Because tomorrow we continue..

And that is more than enough for now.
