The Day Mrs. Globe Truly Began

Very fast.

After finally arriving in Palm Springs, getting only a little sleep, and trying to understand where I was, what time it was, and where all my suitcases belonged, it was time for the first real day of Mrs. Globe.

And from the moment I opened my eyes, the day went in one direction only.

Full speed ahead.

The morning began with registration, orientation, daily inspiration, and the first rehearsals. Everything had to be ready. Receipts, payments, sash, flag, comfortable shoes, and of course, a smile. The kind of smile you carry even when your body is tired, your suitcase is still half unpacked, and your head is somewhere between Norway, Los Angeles, and Palm Springs.

A small car inside the resort picked us up and drove us around the area. I remember sitting there and feeling it all starting to become real. The palm trees, the heat, the beautiful resort, the women arriving from all over the world, and the feeling that this was no longer something I was preparing for.

I was here.

I was at Mrs. Globe.

From the very first day, I spent so much time together with Mrs. Germany Globe. We found each other quickly, and from that moment we were together almost all the time. It is funny how fast you can connect with someone when everything around you is new, busy, emotional, and slightly chaotic.

And chaotic it was.

Because in the middle of all the glamour, crowns, banners, dresses, flags, rehearsals, and pageant energy, there was one very important question in my head.

Where is the internet?

Seriously.
Where is the internet?

Trying to stay connected with home was almost impossible. There was hardly any time to talk properly with the people I love back in Norway. Between rehearsals, instructions, registration, outfit changes, lunch, inspiration, and announcements, the day disappeared before I even had time to breathe.

It was one of those days where you look at the schedule in the morning and think, yes, I can do this.

Then suddenly it is evening.

And you wonder how ten hours passed in what felt like ten minutes.
At 10:00, orientation began. Then came daily inspiration at 10:45, followed by rehearsals at 11:00. That was when the pageant really started to take shape. The stage energy. The walk. The timing. The women. The focus. The details.

Every step mattered.

Every smile mattered.

Every moment reminded me that Mrs. Globe is not just about beauty. It is about discipline, presence, courage, and showing up as the woman you have fought to become.

At 12:45, we had Beauty Bomb with Ambaries, with Annie and the kaftans. Then lunch at 1:00, followed by a beautiful farewell moment for Mrs. CLQ and Mrs. Petite. There was so much to take in, and still, the day kept moving.

At 2:00, rehearsals resumed.

Then sweets at 3:30.

Then rehearsals again at 4:00.

By 6:00, rehearsals ended, but the day was far from over.

At 7:30, it was time for the Welcome Dinner, Bouquet of the Globe.

That name felt perfect. A bouquet of women from all over the world. Different countries, different stories, different journeys, different dreams. But in that room, we were all connected by something greater. The courage to stand there. The courage to represent. The courage to be seen.

I felt grateful.
I felt tired.
I felt proud.
I felt far away from home, but also exactly where I was supposed to be.

There were moments when I wished I had more time to call home, to answer messages, to tell everyone what was happening. But the truth is, the day moved too quickly. It was full from morning until night, and all I could do was be present.

Present in the rehearsals.
Present with the other queens.
Present in the experience.
Present in the dream.

And even with the internet problem, the tired body, and the busy schedule, I went to bed with a full heart.

Because this was the day it truly began.
The day I understood that Mrs. Globe was not only a final.

It was a world.

A world of women, stories, strength, crowns, chaos, laughter, nerves, beauty, and purpose.

And I was part of it.

Stay tuned for Day 3.
