A Day Filled With Gratitude

Today has been one of those days where I finally sat down this evening, took a deep breath, and simply smiled. The day has been busy from morning until night, but it has been the kind of busy that fills your heart rather than drains your energy.

Much of today was spent visiting businesses throughout my hometown of Tønsberg. As I continue preparing to represent Norway at Mrs. Globe, I have been overwhelmed by the support I am receiving from both local businesses and people who believe in my journey.

Every conversation, every encouraging word, and every helping hand reminds me that no dream is ever built alone. We often see the person standing on the stage, but we rarely see all the people standing behind them, helping them get there. Today was a beautiful reminder of exactly that.

When Dreams Arrive In Boxes

As if the day was not exciting enough already, several packages arrived from Dubai. These were not just ordinary deliveries. Inside were specially designed gowns for the Mrs. Globe finals, along with shoes that fit perfectly from the very first moment I tried them on.

The gowns themselves will remain a secret for now. They will be revealed during the live broadcast, and I cannot wait for that moment. This evening, I found myself standing in my bedroom looking at six beautiful gowns laid out across the bed. Each one is unique, each one tells its own story, and each one represents months of planning, creativity, and hard work.

As I looked at them, I realized they represent something much bigger than fashion. They represent courage. They represent stepping outside your comfort zone. They represent saying yes to opportunities that scare you a little and excite you a lot.

My designer is incredibly talented, and I genuinely cannot wait to introduce her and her work to all of you when the time comes.

The Moment That Meant The Most

Yet despite all the excitement surrounding Mrs. Globe, packages from Dubai, and preparations for what lies ahead, the most meaningful moment of my day arrived through the front door.

My oldest daughter came home.

There is something about having your children around you that instantly puts everything into perspective. One moment they are small enough to hold in your arms, and before you know it, they are building lives of their own and finding their own place in the world.

Watching our children grow is one of life’s greatest privileges, but it also reminds us how quickly time passes. It is a lesson I am constantly reminded of. The ordinary moments we sometimes take for granted often become the memories we treasure most.

A conversation around the dinner table. A shared laugh. A familiar voice in the next room.
These are the moments that matter.

The People Who Help Us Shine

As tonight’s preparations continued, my thoughts turned to tomorrow. It will be an early start as I make my way to the salon of someone I consider one of the most talented professionals in the industry.

Linn Alexandra Kiesler, owner of Salongen 1922 in Tønsberg, is simply exceptional at what she does. There is a reason people regularly travel from Oslo and other cities just to sit in her chair. Talent, professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail are qualities that never go unnoticed.

The more I reflect on this journey, the more I appreciate the incredible people surrounding me.
Behind every successful project, event, business, or dream, there are talented individuals working quietly in the background, helping others shine.

They deserve recognition too.

A Message Bigger Than It All

As the house became quieter this evening and the excitement of the day slowly settled, my thoughts returned to the reason I entered Mrs. Globe in the first place.

Because while gowns, stages, and titles are exciting, they are not the most important part of this journey.

The message is.

Mental health, particularly among young people, is a cause very close to my heart. The young generation will one day lead the world we leave behind, and they need our support, our guidance, and our attention now more than ever.

Throughout my life I have had the privilege of listening to countless stories. Stories of struggle. Stories of resilience. Stories of people who simply needed someone to listen. What these conversations have taught me is that people rarely need perfection. They need connection. They need kindness. They need someone who sees them and reminds them that they matter.

There are so many beautiful souls walking through life carrying burdens that nobody else can see. If there is one thing I hope to continue doing, both through this journey and beyond, it is helping people feel seen, heard, and valued.

Ending The Day With Gratitude

And so here I am.

The dresses are ready.

Tomorrow is planned.

One of my two daughters is home.

My heart is grateful.

As exciting as the road ahead may be, tonight I find myself feeling grateful above all else.
Grateful for the people who support me, grateful for my family, grateful for my hometown, and grateful for every opportunity that has brought me to this point.

Dreams are wonderful.

But the people we share them with are what make them truly meaningful.
